Crossing Barbed Wire
Hanan is a Palestinian woman from Ramallah, and works in Al Ram, close to Jerusalem. She has to cross at Kalandia—a major checkpoint. But because the checkpoint is closed, she finds her way through the barbed wire. The risk of being shot here is very real.
