Maps Overview

The following maps have been extracted from reports published by the Foundation for Middle East Peace. They are available for reproduction only with permission and when full accredidation is given to the Foundation for Middle East Peace. Please contact us for more information and authorization.

File FormatsMaps are typically available for download in three file formats:
  • PDF Format — This is a good general-purpose format which can be viewed with Acrobat Reader. Many modern layout programs can import PDFs because they are so well-suited for printed output.
  • GIF Format — This format is used when creating a web page or an on-screen presentation. Because their low resolution makes them optimized for the screen, GIFs are not well-suited for printed output.
  • EPS Format — This format is used specifically for printed output. Additionally, Photoshop can be used to import EPS files and then export them in a variety of pixel-based formats like PSD, TIFF, and BMP.
Note that some older maps may not be available in all formats, and some may only available in GIF format.
